Cambodia: Floodwaters Cut Off Hospital Access, Patients and Staff Use Canoes

Access roads to the newly built provincial hospital in Serey Sophorn City, Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia, have been cut off due to heavy rainfall and flooding. While the hospital building itself remains dry, patients and medical staff are forced to use canoes to reach the facility. Delays in road construction are cited as a contributing factor.
