Ho Chi Minh City: House fire on Pham Huu Chi Street results in 2 deaths, 5 injuries

As of the morning of September 17, a house fire on Pham Huu Chi Street in the Cho Lon area of Ho Chi Minh City has resulted in two deaths and five injuries. Currently, the Cho Lon Ward Police and the Firefighting and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City are cordoning off the scene to investigate the cause of the fire. This incident is one of several fire-related events reported in Vietnam recently. These include an ongoing investigation into the cause of a fire in Tay Ho district, Hanoi; a city-level fire and rescue drill in Hai Phong; the stable health condition of a child who inhaled smoke in a hotel fire; and the treatment of eight victims from two house fires at Gia Dinh People's Hospital. These events underscore the critical importance of fire prevention and safety measures across the country.
