Phu Quoc Enhances Medical Capacity in Preparation for APEC 2027

Phu Quoc Island in southern Vietnam is enhancing its medical capacity in anticipation of hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in 2027. This is considered a crucial preparatory step for hosting the international event. The Phu Quoc International Hospital has signed a comprehensive professional cooperation agreement with Cho Ray Hospital and Military Hospital 175. The Vietnamese Ministry of Health is also deepening its involvement in preparations by surveying the medical infrastructure for the APEC 2027 Leaders' Week. This includes plans for the construction and arrangement of the International Press Center and the issuance of regulations for the APEC 2027 National Committee. Furthermore, multifaceted initiatives are underway to elevate the island's international profile, including an international conference on "APEC 2027 - Elevating Phu Quoc's Cultural and Tourism Development" and efforts to improve communication skills in preparation for APEC Vietnam 2027.
