Heavy Rains Alert Issued for Zambales, Bataan Due to Enhanced Monsoon
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has issued a yellow rainfall alert for Zambales and Bataan due to the enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat. Heavy rains of 7.5 to 15 millimeters per hour are expected, raising the risk of flooding and landslides in mountainous areas.
