Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar have officially launched a joint action plan, the "CLEAR Sky Strategy (2024–2030)", to tackle seasonal haze pollution and forest fires affecting the Mekong subregion. The initiative aims to reduce fire hotspots, improve air quality monitoring, and promote sustainable land management.
