Vietnam Focuses on Economic Growth and Cultural Promotion Amidst Sectoral Progress
Vietnam is concentrating on economic growth, cultural heritage preservation, and strengthening international cooperation. Reports highlight increased agro-forestry-fishery exports, a revitalized tourism sector, and participation in international cultural events. Efforts are also underway to improve infrastructure and enhance citizens' livelihoods.
As part of the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2026, the artistic parade “Lotus takes to the street” brought together around 2,000 participants dressed in lotus-themed Ao dai, setting a new record for the largest-ever lotus Ao dai parade and creating one of the festival's standout events. The “Mrs Ao Dai Europe 2026” pageant not only celebrated the beauty of Vietnamese women but also helped strengthen the bridge of friendship between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, while further promoting Vietnamese cultural values to the international community.
