Vietnam Supreme People's Procuracy Meets with Standing Secretary of Party Central Committee's Secretariat

Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Standing Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's Secretariat and Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies, chaired a meeting on the morning of July 27 in Hanoi between the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Procuracy. The meeting was held in accordance with Directive No. 06-CT/TW of the Politburo, aimed at strengthening the Party's leadership over procuracy work. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing media coordination to disseminate official information regarding the procuracy sector. This follows the one-year review of the operation of the three-level procuracy system and the working session of Inspection Team No. 11 of the Party Central Committee's Politburo with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Procuracy. Vietnam operates under a one-party system, with the Communist Party playing a leading role in all aspects of national governance. The Supreme People's Procuracy holds a significant position within the country's judicial framework, responsible for law enforcement and anti-corruption efforts. While Vietnam has experienced remarkable economic growth in recent years, there is an ongoing emphasis on strengthening the rule of law and enhancing transparency. This meeting can be interpreted as an indication of the Party's direct guidance and control over the activities and information dissemination strategies of the procuracy. It is seen as part of broader efforts to maintain domestic stability and solidify the Party's authority.
