South Korea’s IBK Launches $277 Million Bank in Vietnam

South Korea's Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) is launching a wholly-owned bank in Vietnam, IBK Vietnam, with charter capital of VND7.3 trillion (approximately $277 million). This move aims to strengthen financial services for Korean companies and SMEs operating in Vietnam, further enhancing the presence of Korean banks in the country.
