Philippine telcos unite for $500M national undersea cable project
Major Philippine telecommunications companies PLDT, Globe, and Converge are collaborating on a $500 million national undersea cable project to connect all islands to broadband service. Aiming for completion by 2028, the initiative also considers applications for disaster resilience and national defense.
