WFP offers emergency transport for flood relief in Ayeyarwady and Sagaing regions

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has activated a free-to-user emergency cargo transport service to strengthen humanitarian relief operations following severe monsoon flooding across Myanmar’s Ayeyarwady and Sagaing regions. By opening its internal logistics capacity to all eligible humanitarian organizations, WFP aims to bypass critical transportation bottlenecks and accelerate the delivery of essential supplies to inundated, hard-to-reach communities.
