A super typhoon outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) has weakened into a typhoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) announced Sunday afternoon. The agency reported that the typhoon's strength decreased around 8 a.m.
