BTS Partners with ViaBus for Real-Time Tracking on Three Skytrain Lines

Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC), the operator of the BTS Skytrain, has partnered with ViaBus, a public transportation application, to provide real-time train location information for its three main lines. This collaboration allows passengers to track the operational status of the Sukhumvit Line, Silom Line, and Gold Line in real-time through the ViaBus app. This enhancement is expected to improve waiting time accuracy and enable more efficient travel planning for commuters. BTSC's initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to leverage technology for enhanced customer experience. ViaBus, which aggregates information for various bus routes and public transport in Bangkok, will expand its services with this integration of BTS operations. The real-time tracking is anticipated to reduce passenger anxiety, particularly during peak hours or in cases of unexpected delays, thereby alleviating stress associated with urban travel. BTS plans to continue advancing its services through technological adoption, solidifying its role as a crucial component of Bangkok's urban transportation network.
