Dien Bien Province Establishes Sam Mun Area Firefighting and Rescue Team

Dien Bien Province in northern Vietnam announced on August 7, 2024, the establishment of a firefighting and rescue team for the Sam Mun area (Sam Mun commune). This initiative is part of the province's efforts to enhance safety measures within its local communities. Dien Bien Province has been focusing on infrastructure development and social welfare improvements in recent years, and the establishment of this new team aligns with those objectives. Furthermore, efforts are underway to address historical issues, including a target to complete the collection and identification of martyrs' remains by the end of September. This reflects a centralized approach to achieving economic targets under Vietnam's one-party system.
