Vietnam Imposes Fines for False Information on Social Media, Detains Media Personalities

Vietnam has introduced fines of up to VND 50 million (approx. $2,000) for spreading false information on social media. Authorities have also apprehended individuals associated with prominent online media outlets 'Cà Khịa TV' and 'Ra Khơi TV,' indicating a tightening of information control.
