Bandung City Replants 10 Trees in Front of Destroyed Padel Court

Bandung City in West Java, Indonesia, has replanted 10 trees in front of the former SixNine Padel site on LLRE Martadinata Street (Riau Street), which was previously destroyed. The newly planted trees are mahogany species, standing approximately 5 to 6 meters tall. Initially, Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan was scheduled to attend the symbolic tree planting ceremony, but he was unable to make it at the last minute. However, according to Nana Kurniawan, Head of the Parks Division at the Department of Housing and Settlement (DPKP), the planting proceeded as planned. The city authorities intend to continuously monitor the growth of the newly planted trees. Nana stated that it will take a considerable amount of time for the trees to grow fully and restore a lush canopy. The DPKP plans to replant trees not only at the SixNine Padel site but also in other locations where trees have been damaged in the past. The perpetrators of this incident have been fined a total of Rp 100 million in accordance with local regulations. The city will continue to replant trees in damaged areas, with the timing to be adjusted based on circumstances.
