Mondulkiri Province Conducts Technical and Vocational Diploma Exams, Focusing on Local Skilled Workforce Development
Cambodia's Mondulkiri Province held final exams for technical and vocational training level 3 on July 22, 2026. Provincial authorities emphasized the importance of skilled personnel for socio-economic development and encouraged students to approach the exams with confidence.
Mondulkiri Province – On the morning of July 22, 2026, the final exams for the first and second academic years, as well as the technical and vocational diploma level 3 exams, officially commenced at the Mondulkiri General Education and Technical High School, located in Chamkar Te village, Svay Mean Chey commune, Senmonorom city. Ung Jinnna, Director-General of Education and Chairman of the Examination Committee, and Keo Savoeun, Deputy Governor of Mondulkiri Province, presided over the official sealing of the examination papers. During the event, Ung Jinnna and Keo Savoeun met with the candidates, urging them to diligently adhere to the examination regulations and maintain good order. Deputy Governor Keo Savoeun further encouraged the candidates to be confident in themselves, remain calm, and utilize their acquired knowledge and skills to the best of their ability to answer questions and solve exercises in each subject. She emphasized that the Royal Government and provincial authorities highly value the training of technical and vocational skills, considering them crucial capital for the future and a driving force for socio-economic development. Therefore, she urged the students to strive to their fullest to achieve excellent results and success. According to a report from Ly Samith, Director of the Department of Education, Youth, and Sport of Mondulkiri Province, a total of 148 candidates (73 females) participated in these exams, which span two days. These include candidates for the first and second-year final exams and the technical and vocational diploma level 3 exam. Ly Samith also appealed to parents, citizens, and especially young people interested in studying various technical skills such as agriculture, electricity, and computers, to enroll at the Mondulkiri General Education and Technical High School, located near the provincial education department in Chamkar Te village, Svay Mean Chey commune, Senmonorom city.
