Basilan Mayor Ordered Arrested for Murder
A local court in Basilan, Philippines, has issued arrest warrants for the mayor of Hadji Muhtamad and several associates in connection with an attack that killed three people and wounded two others hours before the May 2025 elections. The mayor faces charges including murder and attempted murder.
