Myanmar Military Intensifies Airstrikes on Villages Along Sittaung River

The Myanmar military has launched a two-day aerial assault on villages along the Sittaung River in Bago Region. Using Y-12 aircraft, the military conducted over 30 strikes, forcing mass displacement of residents. Concurrent artillery attacks in Kyaukkyi have resulted in civilian casualties, further escalating the targeting of non-combatants.
