Tả Ló San: Border Village Transforms with Unity and Green Initiatives

On August 6th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên province organized a review meeting for the implementation of a model project for a united, green, clean, and beautiful border residential area in Tả Ló San village, Sín Thầu commune, Điện Biên province. This initiative aims to improve livelihoods and promote sustainable development in border areas. Điện Biên province is determined to complete the excavation and collection of remains of fallen soldiers from cemeteries by September 30th. Furthermore, the provincial People's Committee has assigned members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to monitor, inspect, and urge the implementation of growth scenarios by primary economic sectors. Two infantry regiments have also been established under the Provincial Military Command. The Department of Construction has dispatched 7 officials and civil servants to oversee and direct the progress of inter-level boarding schools. Recently, the Chairman of the Điện Biên Provincial People's Committee held a dialogue with young people. These developments indicate that under Vietnam's one-party system, local development, stabilization of residents' lives, and strengthening of border security are being pursued in an integrated manner. Specifically, infrastructure development and improvement of resident welfare in border regions are crucial policy issues contributing to overall social stability. Such initiatives in Điện Biên province, which shares a border with China, are also expected to strengthen community cohesion and enhance resilience against external influences.
