The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training announced that a total of 9,197 job opportunities are awaiting former migrant workers returning from Thailand and job seekers within the country across three provinces in Cambodia's central plain: Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, and Kampong Thom. This announcement was made through recent public outreach efforts by the ministry. According to the ministry's statement, as of July 17, 2026, the available positions in these three provinces cover the agricultural, industrial, and service sectors, offering employment to returning workers and those currently seeking jobs. Job seekers can obtain detailed information on factory names, contact numbers, and preferred sectors through employment brochures distributed by the ministry. Furthermore, in addition to direct contact with factories and enterprises, job seekers can also reach out to the Ministry of Labour's emergency hotline, 1297, to receive assistance and coordination in their job search, the ministry added.
