Military columns from Pyay heading towards Tharpaw and Thetphyu with large numbers of troops

In Tharpaw Township, Ayeyarwaddy Region, military columns and convoys are reinforcing their troops and moving towards Thetphyu, according to information received. A military truck from Pyay arrived at the Onion Field junction at around 11 AM today, September 25, with approximately 10 soldiers and was preparing to head towards Thetphyu. "The military vehicles that left in the morning were only reinforcements. The subsequent 10-wheel trucks carried ammunition. The trucks were covered, so the number of troops could not be estimated. They left in a hurry," a military source told the Ayeyarwaddy Times. After that, about 15 soldiers from Infantry Battalion 308 arrived by car, and the military forces joined together and departed towards Thetphyu. Furthermore, at around 1:30 PM, convoys with full strength of soldiers, including four military trucks, two 10-wheel trucks, and Double Cab vehicles, also moved towards Thetphyu from the Onion Field junction. Troops and ammunition from Yangon are being gathered in Pyay and distributed to the battle zones within Ayeyarwaddy Region. Although there have been no reports of movements by military columns heading towards Gwa in recent days, injured personnel are being brought down from Tharpaw's Setdaunggyi and are being urgently transported to Pyay.
