Cambodia Cracks Down on Illegal Fishing, Seizing Over 1,600 Meters of Nets

A large-scale crackdown on illegal fishing has been conducted in Kratie Province, northeastern Cambodia. Authorities seized and destroyed over 1,600 meters of illegal gillnets and fishing gear, releasing approximately 100 kilograms of juvenile fish back into natural waters as part of efforts to ensure the sustainability of fishery resources.
