Northern Mindanao Cops Bolster School Security Amidst Shooting Fears

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Spurred by recent school shootings in the country, Northern Mindanao police are pushing for a "whole-of-community" defense to protect students both inside and outside the classroom. Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr., Police Regional Office-10 (PRO-10) director, has ordered commanders to intensify police visibility around campuses — particularly during school opening.
