Laem Chabang Port to Test Truck Queue System in October to Ease Congestion

Laem Chabang Port, located in Chonburi Province, eastern Thailand, is taking a significant step towards resolving its severe truck congestion issues. According to MGR Online (Business), the port is scheduled to commence a trial operation of its Truck Queue System at berths B5 and C3 this coming October. The system is designed to efficiently manage the inflow of trucks into the port area, preventing overcrowding. This is expected to reduce delays in port operations and mitigate the impact on surrounding roads. Following the trial operation and evaluation of the system's effectiveness and challenges, full-scale implementation across the entire port is targeted for December 2026.
