Cambodian People's Party Welcomes 221 New Members, Urges Quality Cadres

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) held a ceremony to welcome 221 new members in Thnal Thum commune, Poipet City, on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Dr. Chhorn Narith, Head of the Government Working Group for Thnal Thum Commune, presided over the event. Dr. Chhorn Narith conveyed the regards and well-wishes from HE Aun Pornmonirath, Chairman of the Party Working Group for Kampot Province, and HE Chu Vichet, Permanent Vice-Chairman of the Party Working Group for Poipet City, to all the new party members. The Doctor highly praised and commended the working group for its well-structured plan for youth party members, with clear roles and responsibilities, which has led to active participation and demonstrated the strength of the youth, making it impossible for other parties to sway or undermine their morale. Furthermore, Dr. Chhorn Narith urged the 221 new members in Thnal Thum commune, Poipet City, to be quality members. This includes each member casting a vote for the Cambodian People's Party. He also advised all party members to focus on several tasks: protecting peace and national sovereignty, continuing to engage with the grassroots to understand the situation and resolve people's difficulties, disseminating information about the schemes of opposition groups, strengthening the capacity and education of youth and children, and reinforcing internal party cohesion and support to achieve victory in upcoming elections.
