CHIANG RAI – Over 200 residents from 40 villages gathered in Phan District, Chiang Rai, to protest a proposed waste-to-energy power plant project. Protesters converged from Muang Kham Sub-district, voicing their concerns about the potential impact on their community. Their primary worries include air and water pollution, as well as health risks associated with potential emissions from the plant.
