Phetchabun, Thailand – The ancient "Um Phra Dam Nam" festival, a 400-year-old tradition, has commenced in Phetchabun province. The central ritual involves submerging a sacred Buddha image into the water, a practice believed to ensure good harvests, timely rainfall, and protection from disease.
