Dat Bike Aims to Expand High-Performance Electric Motorcycle Market

Dat Bike, a Vietnamese electric motorcycle manufacturer, aims to realize electric motorcycles with sufficient power, reliability, and convenience to eliminate users' concerns during daily commutes. Dat Bike has consistently pursued the direction of "high-performance electric motorcycles" from its initial product development to the present. Across series such as Weaver, Quantum, and Era, the company is continuously evolving to enhance riding performance, range, and integration of new features and technologies for better suitability in daily life. The foundation of Dat Bike's electric motorcycles is their "performance." In the early stages when the market was dominated by short-range electric motorcycles, Dat Bike introduced the Weaver, capable of approximately 100 km on a single charge. The full charging time for this model was announced to be around 3 hours. The Weaver sparked expectations for electric motorcycles that could travel long distances, charge quickly, and offer sufficient performance as a primary mode of transportation. Building on the Weaver, the company has improved performance in subsequent models like Weaver 200, Weaver++, Quantum, and Quantum S. In addition to design changes and feature additions, new models have seen improvements in riding performance, motor power, and the overall riding experience. According to Dat Bike, this is a consistent strategy across the brand, aiming to make performance one of the key criteria when choosing an electric motorcycle. For instance, the Quantum S1 is equipped with a 7 kW motor, accelerates from 0-50 km/h in 2.69 seconds, and has a claimed range of up to 285 km on a full charge. In actual use, this electric motorcycle delivers impressive acceleration, is capable of carrying two adults, handles inclines, and offers a sufficient range that eliminates the need for frequent charging calculations. Dat Bike pledges to provide owners with free software updates during the ownership period, which could potentially improve the vehicle's performance in the future. Improving convenience in daily life is also a goal for Dat Bike. Beyond performance and range, new products need to be more convenient, which is another important criterion for consumers when considering an electric motorcycle. This challenge is addressed by the recently launched Era model. Dat Bike has integrated the "Integrated Charger" technology into this electric motorcycle, allowing users to charge the vehicle from common 220V outlets without needing to carry a separate charger. According to the company, an additional 15 minutes of charging can provide about 30 km of travel. The fast-charging mode takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge the battery, achieving a range of up to 200 km. Dat Bike states that this product development direction has led to their nomination for the Better Choice Awards, an award recognizing the brand's efforts in applying technology to real life and promoting the greening of transportation for Vietnamese people. Industry experts note that the journey from Weaver to Quantum and Era demonstrates Dat Bike's consistent strategy, where each product generation enhances the electric motorcycle experience, further pushing the boundaries of performance and technology, and enabling users to discover new possibilities with these vehicles.
