Cambodian Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Visits AI Exhibition and Meets Chinese Companies in Shanghai

Cambodia's Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Chea Vandeth, attended the World Artificial Intelligence Conference held in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, from July 17 to 20, 2026. Following the official sessions of the conference, the Minister, accompanied by leaders from specialized departments and technical experts, visited the Artificial Intelligence Technology Exhibition at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall. The visit aimed to gain firsthand understanding of the latest developments in AI technology and emerging market trends. The Minister and his delegation visited exhibition booths and held working meetings with companies including Huawei, ZTE, China Telecom, and Alibaba. These companies showcased their latest technologies in AI and related fields, such as AI-specific computing machines and services, operating systems, cloud platforms, and AI system development and operation platforms. These advancements are designed to meet the infrastructure demands of the AI era with enhanced speed and new capabilities. Minister Chea Vandeth encouraged the technical teams from all parties to collaborate more closely to accelerate cooperation.
