Men Sam An, a senior official of the Cambodian People's Party, instructed party officials in Svay Rieng province to provide expert-based local services and strengthen preparations for the upcoming local elections, aiming to gain public trust and advance party policies.
Men Sam An, Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), has instructed party officials in Svay Rieng province to provide expert-based local services and strengthen preparations for the upcoming local elections. Speaking at a party election campaign command meeting in Svay Rieng on September 6, attended by approximately 200 party officials, Men Sam An emphasized the need to foster trust in the government and the CPP by delivering timely and accurate services to the public. Party officials at all levels were urged to prepare all necessary means for the upcoming 6th mandate of the commune/sangkat council elections in 2027. This includes preparing the composition of the new councils, strengthening existing party members, expanding the recruitment of new members, issuing party membership cards, and promoting voter registration. Officials were also instructed to guide party members in preparing necessary documents for the elections and to cooperate with the election committee to provide support if party members lack the required documentation for registration. Men Sam An also praised the contributions of party members and officials working at the local level in improving the economy, social security, and family life. These directives indicate the Cambodian People's Party's focus on strengthening its grassroots organization and securing public support. The move is seen as an effort to enhance the party's policy implementation capabilities and public service delivery system ahead of the next local elections.
