A shooting incident occurred on the evening of September 8, 2026, in Khnar Village, Laybo Commune, Tram Kak District, Takeo Province, causing significant alarm among residents. The incident took place at the home of Mr. Kang Samon, husband of Mrs. Tit Sarath, also known as Plong. The conflict reportedly arose from a verbal dispute during a drinking session, which escalated to the point where firearms were drawn and a struggle ensued, leading to a gunshot. As a result, one man, the son of the homeowner, sustained a serious injury to his thigh and was immediately transported to the hospital. According to information, one of the individuals present at the drinking session managed to disarm another during the scuffle, retrieving one firearm.
