Ho Chi Minh's Legacy Promotes Vietnam-China Friendship

On September 9, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, in coordination with the Vietnamese Consulate General in Kunming, China, organized a series of activities to honor President Ho Chi Minh and promote the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two nations. This initiative is part of Vietnam's foreign policy to disseminate President Ho Chi Minh's legacy globally and foster international friendships. Previously, Vietnam has also held events introducing Ho Chi Minh's heritage and Vietnamese culture in countries such as France, Portugal, and Greece, aiming to promote international understanding through cultural exchange. The current activities in China are also linked to the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, with the aim of further deepening bilateral ties. As a socialist republic with a one-party system, Vietnam prioritizes economic growth. Relations with China are particularly crucial in Vietnam's foreign policy due to geographical proximity and deep economic interdependence. However, sensitive issues, such as the South China Sea dispute, also exist between the two countries.
