Hanoi Selects Two Communes for Socialist Model Pilot

Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, has approved a pilot plan for the 'socialist commune and ward' model, scheduled to be implemented from 2026 to 2035. This initiative aims to innovate local governance, enhance the quality of life for residents, and promote sustainable development in the capital. The communes of Phuc Thinh and Thu Lam have been selected as the pilot sites. These areas will serve as experimental grounds for the introduction and evaluation of the new model.
