House urged to allocate P14B for disaster victims' food packs

A Philippine congressman has filed a resolution seeking the allocation of P14 billion from the 2026 budget for food packs for disaster victims or rice for every Filipino family. The congressman claims the funds can be sourced from the House's Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) and 'bonuses'.
