Thailand Launches Urgent Operation Against Invasive Black Snakehead Fish Threatening 2 Billion Baht Economy

Thailand's Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has launched an urgent "Find, Report, Catch" operation to combat the rapid spread of the invasive Black Snakehead fish (Pla Mor Kang Dam) in the Lam Pao Dam. Economic losses are estimated to exceed 2 billion baht (approx. $55 million USD), with suspected involvement of smugglers.
