208 buildings of 39 district and township level departments in Chin State's Falam District, damaged by terrorist incidents, to be repaired by 148 companies with K9601.26827 million allocated

It has been revealed that the repair of 208 buildings, which sustained partial damage among 39 district and township level departments in Falam District and township level departments in Chin State, damaged by terrorist incidents, has commenced on August 3rd by 148 companies with an allocated budget of K9601.26827 million from the National Natural Disaster Management Fund, said Dr. Than Zaw Lwin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, during a meeting with departmental officials at the Falam City Hall. Furthermore, it is understood that the remaining 50 partially damaged buildings and 72 completely destroyed buildings will be continued under the respective departments' plans. Following the meeting, the Deputy Minister, along with the Chin State Minister for Security and Border Affairs, members of the Chin State Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Committee, and members of the Falam Township Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Works Committee, inspected the repair status of the Falam District and Township Rural Development Department office building and the Falam Township Fire Services Department office building, the completion of debris clearance within the Falam People's Hospital compound damaged by terrorist incidents, the repair status of the No. 1 Basic Education High School building, and the repair status of the District Road Department office building. Subsequently, he met with hospital officials at the Falam Township temporary hospital opened at the City Hall and inspected the status of healthcare services being provided to the public.
