Cambodia Arrests and Detains 19 Foreigners for Cyber Fraud

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – A total of 19 foreigners, including six Vietnamese and 13 Chinese nationals, have been arrested and detained in Cambodia for their alleged involvement in cyber fraud schemes. The individuals are accused of operating organized fraud networks and luring victims with fake investment opportunities. Cambodia's law against cyber fraud, enacted in April 2026, carries severe penalties.
