TNI Appoints New Head of Strategic Intelligence Agency Amidst Human Rights Scandal

The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) has appointed Lt. Gen. Robi Herbawan as the new head of the Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS), replacing Lt. Gen. Yudi Abrimantyo, who resigned following a scandal involving a chemical attack on a human rights activist.
