Ta Keo Provincial Gendarmerie Cracks Down on Drug Case, Arrests 4, Seizes 31 Packs of Narcotics

In Tram Kak district, Ta Keo province, Cambodia, four individuals have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the illegal possession, trafficking, and use of narcotics. The crackdown operation was conducted on September 7, 2026, at approximately 11:40 AM, in Trapeang Krasang village, Ousaray commune, within the district. The arrested suspects, all listed as having "no fixed occupation," include: 1. Chin Chhean, male, 31 years old, residing in Angk Tasoam village, Angk Tasoam commune, Tram Kak district. 2. Phat Soviza, female, 17 years old, residing in Trapeang Chhng, Samrong commune, Tram Kak district. 3. Nhu Loeng, male, 45 years old, residing in Trapeang Khchav village, Ousaray commune, Tram Kak district. 4. Hoen Puthea, male, 19 years old, residing in Trapeang Krasang village, Ousaray commune, Tram Kak district, Ta Keo province. Authorities reported that during the operation, 31 packages containing a white crystalline substance, totaling 14.68 grams (including the weight of the packaging), were seized. Additionally, various materials for packaging narcotics and related drug paraphernalia were also confiscated. Following the interrogation and expert procedures, the four suspects, along with the seized evidence, have been forwarded to the Ta Keo Provincial Court to proceed with legal proceedings.
