Land Lease Permits Presented to Residents of Myawaddy Township, Kayin State

It is reported that a ceremony for the presentation of village land lease permits, implemented under the State Government's 100-day plan, was held at the City Hall (Mya Sandi Hall) in Myawaddy Township, Myawaddy District, Kayin State, at approximately 10:00 AM on July 30. U Aye Min Htwe, the Deputy Speaker of the Kayin State Hluttaw, attended the village land lease permit presentation ceremony, which was carried out under the State Government's 100-day plan, and delivered the opening remarks. Following this, District Administrator U Ye Lin Maung provided a clear explanation regarding the village land lease permit activities being undertaken as part of the 100-day plan. Subsequently, land lease permits for the homesteads of 260 residents from the Thit Nyi Naung and Mekane village tracts in Myawaddy Township, and for 65 residents from the Phay Chaung village tract, were respectively presented by the Hluttaw Deputy Speaker and responsible officials. It was reported that 21 villagers attended and received the permits. Following this, U Than Htun, a resident of Thit Nyi Naung village who received a village land lease permit, expressed his gratitude, stating that obtaining land ownership has brought a sense of stability and security to their lives, which were previously lived without documentation. Subsequently, a female resident of Phay Chaung village also conveyed her thanks to all those who worked to facilitate the acquisition of land permits, it was reported. Following this, responsible officials and land lease permit recipients took commemorative photographs, and the ceremony concluded at 11:30 AM, it was reported.
