Erwan explained that with the largest population in Indonesia, reaching around 51 million people, West Java is now plagued by crucial social issues. Online gambling and online lending (pinjol) practices, he said, are no longer just targeting low-income people but have massively penetrated the ranks of officials, members of the TNI, Polri, to ASN.
