Cambodia Offers 100% Scholarships and Job Opportunities to Border Region Students
Cambodia's Ministry of Education has announced a program offering 100% scholarships and 10 job opportunities for high school graduates residing in border provinces affected by regional situations. This initiative aims to support the education and future stability of youth in these impacted areas.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has announced a program offering 100% scholarships and 10 job opportunities for students who have obtained their high school diploma (Bak Doob) for the 2025-2026 academic year and reside in affected border areas. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, stated through the ministry's official Facebook page that 10 scholarships are being provided for studies at Bunamary University (BMU). These scholarships cover 100% of tuition fees until the completion of a bachelor's degree. Furthermore, scholarship recipients will also have the opportunity to secure employment with a salary. This scholarship program specifically targets students living in provinces affected by border situations, including Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, and Poipet.
