Vietnam Pursues Integrated Marine Spatial Governance for Sustainable Development

This aims to promote logistics, trade, and industrial agglomeration, thereby contributing to the overall development of Vietnam's marine economy. These efforts are fundamental to Vietnam's national development goals under its one-party system, which seek to balance economic growth with environmental conservation while protecting its vast maritime interests. Amidst tensions over maritime claims with China, Vietnam is pursuing a complex foreign and security policy, seeking peaceful resolutions based on international law while advancing economic independence and marine development.
