ASEAN and Partner Countries to Attend Myitkyina International Education Forum

It has been learned from the Kachin State Government that ASEAN 10 countries and partner countries will attend the Myitkyina International Education Forum 2026, which will be held in Myitkyina, Kachin State, in the coming November. It is said that more than 400 people in total, including leading universities from ASEAN 10 countries, China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Russia, as well as scholars and paper presenters from overseas organizations, will attend the forum. It is understood that the forum to be held this time is the first forum to be held as a national-level international education conference in Myitkyina City. It is understood that the forum will include plans to connect and exhibit innovations in science and technology for sustainable development, social applied sciences, language and cultural heritage, social sciences, peace, MSME development and socio-economy, artificial intelligence (AI) technology, global teaching systems and educational cooperation, as well as paper presentations, regional valuable products, traditional cultural exhibitions, and youth research-based technological and socio-economic innovations.
