Royal Academy of Cambodia and Active Officers School Sign MoU to Boost Joint Scientific Research and Information Exchange

The Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC) and the Active Officers School have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening scientific research, information exchange, and cooperation between the two institutions. Dr. Sok Touch, President of the RAC, and Colonel Huor Menghuong, Director of the Active Officers School, signed the MoU at the RAC on August 6, 2026. Dr. Sok Touch expressed great pleasure at the signing of the MoU, stating his firm belief that it will serve as a significant catalyst for promoting cooperation, the exchange of views, joint scientific research, information exchange, publications, mutual visits, and other collaborative activities between the two institutions, based on the principles of consultation and mutual agreement. Colonel Huor Menghuong remarked that the MoU signing between the Active Officers School and the RAC will contribute to expanding the knowledge base of leaders, staff, military instructors, and students of the Active Officers School. He emphasized that this cooperation will enhance relations between the military and civilian sectors, thereby contributing to the development of the nation's society. This collaboration is expected to deepen ties between Cambodia's academic and military spheres, potentially bolstering both the nation's intellectual foundation and its defense capabilities.
