Svay Rieng Provincial Information Department Reviews First Half-Year Work, Sets Direction for Second Half

Svay Rieng, Cambodia -- On July 17, 2026, the Svay Rieng Provincial Information Department convened a meeting at its conference hall to review work results for the first half of 2026 and set work directions for the second half. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Long Seng, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Information, and Mr. Men Eng, Deputy Governor of Svay Rieng Province, along with leaders from the Information Department, office leaders, civil servants, and relevant officials. During the meeting, a report was presented highlighting the significant work achievements accomplished by the department in the first half of 2026. The focus was on disseminating information about the government's policies, the implementation of reform programs, development information within the province, management of the information and television sectors, and strengthening cooperation with relevant agencies and institutions. His Excellency Long Seng highly commended the efforts of the leadership and civil servants of the Svay Rieng Provincial Information Department for their responsible performance and notable achievements. He urged all officials to continue strengthening solidarity, paying attention to the quality and timeliness of information dissemination, and utilizing digital technology more effectively to respond to the evolving information landscape. Concurrently, Mr. Men Eng praised the work results achieved by the Information Department and advised them to maintain close cooperation with the provincial administration, relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to disseminate information broadly, accurately, and in a timely manner, thereby supporting provincial development and enhancing public awareness. It is noted that during this meeting, directions for the second half of 2026 were also agreed upon, with a collective commitment to implement tasks to achieve even better results in line with the government's political program and the Ministry of Information's strategic plan.
