The incident occurred on the afternoon of July 13, when a motorcycle was reported stolen near the State Stadium in Taunggyi. Following the report, nearby residents pursued the suspects and managed to arrest one of them. "People were shouting that a motorcycle was stolen, alerting those nearby. One of the two was caught. The other took the motorcycle and escaped," said a local resident who was aware of the incident. According to local residents, the stolen motorcycle disappeared from the vicinity of the Sepak Takraw court near the stadium. Shortly after the incident, a crowd of people pursued and apprehended one suspect. "Recently, we've been hearing frequent news of motorcycle thefts, so people have become more vigilant. This time, they discovered it in time and managed to catch one person," said another local resident. Regarding the incident, the arrested suspect is currently under interrogation, and investigations are continuing to apprehend the escaped suspect and recover the motorcycle, it was reported.
