Vietnam Pilots Integrated Land Data System for Administrative Efficiency

Thanh Hoa province in central Vietnam has launched a pilot initiative to digitize, clean, and standardize land-related data. This effort aims to transition land data into a unified and modern system. This initiative is expected to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of land information shared among administrative agencies, thereby streamlining land management and related administrative procedures. Thanh Hoa province plans to improve data interoperability by considering integration with the national land database system. The Vietnamese government considers the digitization and centralization of land data a national priority and is accelerating the construction of a nationwide data infrastructure. The pilot program in Thanh Hoa is a crucial step towards its nationwide rollout. This effort is also expected to increase administrative transparency and improve the investment environment.
