Cambodia's Takeo Province Inspects Road and Drainage Improvements to Enhance Local Livelihoods

In Kirivong District, Takeo Province, Cambodia, Governor Nguon Dina conducted an on-site inspection to monitor the progress of infrastructure development aimed at improving the quality of life for local residents. The inspection, held on the morning of Tuesday, July 21, 2026, was accompanied by district council members, deputy governors, and technical working groups. The focus of the visit was the repair of a concrete road, the development of a drainage system, and the management of sanitation and environmental conditions within Preah Bat Chanteum Commune. During the inspection, Governor Nguon Dina instructed commune authorities and the technical team to ensure that the construction and repair of the concrete road and drainage system adhere strictly to technical standards, guaranteeing durability and longevity. He further urged local residents to actively participate in maintaining hygiene and environmental cleanliness, emphasizing the reduction of littering to prevent drainage blockages and foster a clean living environment. The governor stated that this direct oversight demonstrates the Kirivong District administration's high level of attention to enhancing public infrastructure.
