AI Summary

Ms. Khoun Khundy of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) visited the impoverished in Kampong Svay district, emphasizing the party's consistent support for the people's hardships. She stated the CPP is indispensable for economic and political development and improving citizens' lives, asserting no other party can replace it.

Ms. Khoun Khundy, head of the working group for Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province, stated on September 5, 2026, that "no political party can replace the Cambodian People's Party (CPP)." She made this remark during a meeting with impoverished citizens in Chey village, Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province, held at Trapeang A Raks Primary School. During the occasion, Ms. Khundy conveyed the warm regards and deep concern of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the CPP, who always cares about the hardships of the people, regardless of his busy schedule with national affairs. Ms. Khundy further stated that the CPP remains the sole party that has actively and significantly contributed to rescuing Cambodia and achieving continuous development in both economic and political spheres, as well as supporting the livelihoods of the people, especially those facing poverty, without regard to political affiliation or religion. Wherever the people face difficulties, the CPP is present. For instance, witnessing the hardship of the people today, local authorities, particularly the village and commune chiefs, along with the working group, collaborated to organize this visit to provide assistance, ensuring no one suffers from a lack of food. This reflects the party's commitment to the people's well-being, based on clear policies adhering to the principle: 'The People's Party is born from the people, for the people, and with the people.' Ms. Khundy affirmed that although the aid provided at this time may not fully meet all needs, it significantly contributes to resolving difficulties and supporting livelihoods for a period, preventing any citizen from dying due to starvation. She highlighted, "When you face hardship and lack, which party comes to help? It is only the Cambodian People's Party." Therefore, to encourage and honor the party leaders, she urged all citizens to continue supporting and voting for the CPP, so that they may share joy and sorrow together under the roof of peace and contribute to the nation's development, making it prosperous like other countries worldwide. It is worth noting that 104 families from 6 villages in Chey commune received aid, with each family receiving 20 kg of rice, 20 packs of instant noodles, 3 bottles of fish sauce, 1 kg of preserved radish, 3 bottles of soy sauce, 5 cans of sardine, 1 sarong, and 20,000 Riel (approximately $5 USD).
